On every second Saturday of the month this summer, Sonora opens its charming downtown to this art and music event. With it's well-perserved gold rush era architecture, interesting shops and a growing arts community, Sonora makes for a perfect trip away from the city or valley.
  All along Washington Street on a Second Saturday you will discover small family run restaurants to dine at and nearly a dozen live music performances in the art galleries and shops. With music choices such as jazz, folk, bluegrass, and classical there is something for everyone.
  Strolling the streets of downtown Sonora you can see the beauty of this gold rush town as the summer sun sets on it's historic storefronts. Enjoy dinner at one of Sonora's small restaurants, then go for a walk and celebrated local arts!
